Selected work

01 / PROJECTS
Senior design · Hardware lead

LightMate

A smart chessboard that brings the physical game into an interactive system through piece sensing, LED guidance, and a Raspberry Pi.

Designed the hardware schematic integrating 81 LEDs, Hall-effect sensors, I/O expanders, and level-shifting circuitry. Led the multi-part enclosure design in Fusion 360, assembled the PCB, and supported Python integration and debugging.

IoT temperature & humidity monitor

A custom PCB system using a DHT22 sensor and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to send readings to Adafruit IO and display them on a local OLED screen. Built with Arduino code, with schematics and manufacturing files documented in the repository.

B.S. in Computer Engineering · Minor in Cybersecurity

Coursework includes data structures, operating systems, computer networks, digital forensics, web application security, system hardening, and cloud computing and security.

Behind the work

03 / ABOUT

I like understanding how things work—and then building something with that understanding.

My projects take me from soldering and debugging boards to writing software and designing enclosures. I’m especially interested in the places where hardware, software, and cybersecurity meet.

Outside engineering: coffee experiments, football, and a steady curiosity about technology.
